Bob Marley is till the highest wisdom singer when we talk about reggae music... this coming Friday, May 15, 2015, is the annual reggae night celebration for Bob Marley. This celebration is held all over the world to honour reggae icon.
Nest Bob Marley will be staged in different cities. In Lagos, the celebration will hold at Duban International Hotel located around Ogba Lagos Nigeria.
In the spirit of rastafari, our reggae stars and gladiators, like King Wadada, Majek Fashek, Ras Kimono, Mandators, Oritz Williki and Candy Sea among others will be on hand to entertain reggae lovers with their music. According to Wadada World Class Entertainment in partnership with Underground Systems Records Production, New York, United States, the outfit packaging the Marley Day at the venue, the event will be a world class entertainment extravaganza. Other entertainers billed to perform include Righteousman, Black Rice, Judy Ranky, Terry G, Orezi, Black Face, African China and others young talents.
Interestingly, plans are on to bring the matriarch, Rita Marley and some of her family to Nigeria to make a special appearance and spice up the night event which begins at 8pm.
The younger generation of singers is also not left out as Tu Face Idibia, Olamide and the likes of Patoranking will showcase their music and reel out reggae tunes in solidarity with the reggae world.
