Someone once told me that "the music industry can not be interesting without beef amonge all artistes... this person gave me some points that make me remember the "Biggest 5 Beef But Resolved In Nigerian Music Industry"

After the post of 8 Unforgettable Record Label Breakups in Nigeria... here is 5 beef at have happened but solved in Nigeria Music. Before we start bellow is the list of 5

1) Davido vs Wizkid

2) Terry G Vs. AY.com

3) Davido Vs Saucekid

4) Don Jazzy vs D’Banj vs Wande Coal

5) 2face vs Faze vs Black Face (Plantashun Boiz)

1) Davido vs Wizkid

Davido and Wizkid like every music artiste in this article started out as friends but the rapid growth of the former saw him become rival to a man that used to inspire his work.

The young men also had a physical encounter in a flight to the U.S. which led to a heavy shot from Wizkid to Davido, telling him he does proper shows in proper venues.

The two have since resolved their problems as we posted on the matter (I Have No Beef With Davido - Wizkid Says) but comparisons still exists big time. Mind, Davido still has a pending beef with Diamond from Tanzania.

2) Terry G Vs. AY.com
Everybody know that Terry G and AY.Com started as friends but later, as time goes by, their friendship got sour after they clashed over the ownership of their joint hit single Pass Me Your Love.

Pass Me Your Love was owned by Ay.com when the record was released but Terry G felt he owns a slice of the big cake when the song was put out and like Davido started performing the record at concerts and shows. This didn't go down well with AY who recently came back from a music exile. He said he went on exile to cater for his family.

It is clear that Terry G and AY.Com have now resolved their beef. This happened when AY.com released a single titled "No Mind Them" which he features Terry G, although the song doesn’t look like it will reach the height of Pass Me Your Love.

3) Davido Vs Saucekid
The beef between Davido and US based Nigerian rapper Saucekid a.k.a Sinzu started when Davido started to perform the latter’s song at his own concerts alone. The two collaborated on Sinzu’s last hit song, Carolina.

Sinzu was totally not cool with the pop star making money off his song without paying him a dime as royalty. The last time Davido performed the song was about 3 years back after accepting the song doesn’t belong to him.

The two performed the song together for the first time in years at the just concluded SWSX. They also hung out after the gig in Austin, Texas which signaled the end of their rift.

4) Don Jazzy vs D’Banj vs Wande Coal
Following the industry defining break up of music group Mo’Hits, the frontmen of the team Don Jazzy, D’Banj and Wande Coal were at loggerheads for many years.

While D’Banj and Don Jazzy regularly maintain that they are at peace, it is well believed that there is a cold war between them but that appears to be a thing of the past now as the two of them have been spotted together on several occasions firstly when rapper Wale came to Nigeria.

Wande Coal joined the amicable resolution after performing alongside them at Oniru’s birthday earlier this month.

If they are on talking terms is a topic for another day, but as it is, there is no more war.

5) 2face vs Faze vs Black Face (Plantashun Boiz)
Out of our "8 Unforgettable Record Label Breakups in Nigeria" this group took the number one on our list. Although, their beef have been settled many years back.

It is not everybody that knows the reason why the Plantashun Boiz broke up but the latest word that  Kennis Music chief, Kenny Ogungbe said was that that "the fall out of the boy band in order for them (Kennis Music) to cash out on 2face Idibia which worked out pretty well"

Blackface Naija remains at large while 2face continues to achieve mainstream success.

Faze on the other hand has struggled to release another hit project since his first two albums Faze Alone and Independent.

This beef was settled when 2face threw a birthday bash for Faze at his Festac night club, Rumors.
